Born May 13, 1956 in Ware County, Georgia to the late Rufus P. and Pauline Jones, he was a former employee of the Georgia Department of Transportation (DOT). Mr. Jones was also a veteran of The US Army and The National Guard. He was of the Baptist faith and was an avid fisherman and also enjoyed hunting. He had been a resident of Glynn County for most of his life. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter, Jamie, a grandson, Christian, a brother Kenny, and a sister Swann.
Survivors include his wife Vicki Jones of Waynesville, children, Chad, Heather, Thomas, and April, grandchildren, David, Austin, Tessa, Cassie, Olivia, Trinity, T.J., Hunter, Cameron, two brothers, Joe Jones, Bill Jones, two sisters, Sandra Gonzalez, and Dawn Hartig.
