

.Nora Lee Walling Mobley of Brunswick, Georgia was born the 10th of October 1925 in Lodge, South Carolina. She passed away on Monday the 9th of June, 2014 at the Senior Care Center. Mrs. Mobley worked in her early years at the Oglethorpe Hotel, the Deck and later at Tide Treasures.
She was involved in the Eastern Star serving as an officer, the PTA over three generations and attended Norwich Baptist Church her entire life. She also attended Glynn Academy and played on the girls’ basketball team.
She enjoyed traveling and her weekly card games with family and friends.
Survivors include her children Sheila McNeill (Arlie), Kenny Mobley, Debbie Youngner (Larry), and Brian Mobley; her grandchildren Leslie Lynn Manoukian (Richard), Andi Nichole Scriven (Lee), Shaina Mobley, Colonel Larry Youngner, Jr., USAF (Colonel Kristine Youngner USAF) , Gregory Caples Youngner (Angela); her great- grandchildren Ryan Maxton McNeill ( Blaire), Norah Diann Manoukian, Cole Gregory Youngner, Seth Petersen Youngner, and Tessa Sabine Youngner; and her great- great- grandchildren Rayne Asher McNeill, Lexie Deanne Bartlett, Nolan Stephen Youngner, and Kylie Alison Manoukian.
She is also survived by her sister, Irene Franklin, and brother Alton Walling (Ethlyn) and many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Mobley is preceded in death by her husband Kenneth L. Mobley, her son Ricky Dean Mobley, and her sister Dorothy Guglielmo Michaels.
Honorary pallbearers are Larry Youngner, Jr., Greg Youngner, Ryan McNeill, Lee Scriven, Richard Manoukian and the caregivers of the Senior Care Center who treated her with love
A memorial service will be held 5 PM Thursday, the 12th of June, 2014 in the chapel of Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home with Reverend Bruce Franklin officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at 4 PM – 5 PM.
