

Paul was born March 21, 1938, in Olean, New York, the son of the late Edward and Sarah Bish Crawford. He graduated from Cassadaga Valley Central School. From 1958 to 1963 he served in the United States Air Force. On August 30, 1968, Paul married Catherine (Cathy) Patterson.
Paul worked for Niagara Therapy Manufacturing Company in Brocton, New York. In 1979 Paul was promoted to plant manager for the Brunswick, GA plant. He and his family moved to Brunswick, GA where he worked for Niagara Therapy until the closing of the Brunswick division. He then went to work for Sea Island Company as their upholsterer. He worked for Sea Island Company until his retirement in 2003. Paul also had his own upholstering business, Paul’s Upholstery.
Paul enjoyed fishing and camping. He was a member of Taylors United Methodist Church, Brunswick, GA.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by an infant son, Gean Edward Crawford; two brothers, Leonard Crawford and Edward H. Crawford, Jr. and two sisters, Audrey Stanley and June Martin.
Survivors include his wife, Catherine J. Patterson Crawford, two daughters, Tammy Crawford-Perkins (Crawford) and Pamela Spillers (Mark), three grandchildren, Crystal Smith (Trent), Robbie Crawford and Sarah Manning and five great-grandchildren; Katie, Trent Paul, Jeremiah Smith, Hunter Manning and Michael Fantine III; and brother, Robert "Bud" Crawford. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life Service to be held 10:00AM, Friday, December 29, 2017, in the Chapel of Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home with the Reverend Jay Hanson officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions to Heartland Hospice, 664 Scranton Road, Brunswick, GA 31520.
Interment will be private at a later date in the Portland Evergreen Cemetery (Patterson’s family plot) in Portland, New York.
He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. His family will have many fond memories to cherish for years to come. We will always carry his memory in our hearts.
