

She was reunited in eternity with her beloved daughters, Romona Nell Vincent and Roseanna Michelle Brooks Pitzer; her mother, Annie Pauline Jones Bowen; her father, John Arthur Steele; and her dear sister, Clara Vanessa Hand Grammer.
Paula’s spirit lives on through the loved ones she leaves behind. She is survived by her children, Monica Okie, CB Sanders, John Thomas Brooks, and Scot Murray, and her grandchildren include Philadelphia Brooks Morris, Rosaria Brooks, Savannah Brooks, Elisse Oneal, Anna Cowan Linton (Mark Anthony), Alaric Shearer (Monica), Malachi Okie, Celyn Murray, Wilson Sanders, Liam Sanders, and Ian Sanders.
She was immensely proud of her great-grandchildren: RonnieTravis, Hermione, Justin Jr, Emmett, Esme, Oliver, Theo, Cameron, Millie, Brooklyn, Georgia, and Finnley; each one bringing her tremendous joy and love throughout her later years.
Paula is also survived by her dearly loved siblings, JoEdna McDowell (Warren), Rhonda Hand (Tarvin Rhodes), and Sidney Hand (Charlotte); close nieces and nephews, Indea Beckum (Dan), Allie Zorn, Nick Zorn (Amy), Olivia Kleinhans (Drew) and Ivan Grammer (Naomi), Meg Clinch (Hunter), Matt Hand, and John Hand (Mia); life-long friends, Zella and Jack O’Quinn, along with many other treasured nieces, nephews, and dear friends who will forever hold her memory close in their hearts.
Paula was a gifted artist whose creativity flowed through everything she touched, from her painting to her woodworking and shell motifs. She especially cherished the time spent playing Boggle with her sisters, where laughter, playful competition, and love filled the room.
Paula was a woman whose heart overflowed with love for her family. She expressed her love in countless ways, through her creativity, her wit, and her affection, which she showered on her children and grandchildren. Her warmth and generosity of spirit will be deeply missed, though lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
Above all, Paula will be remembered by her faith in God. She was a devoted member of the local Seventh-Day Adventist Church. She loved her Savior, and her family rests in the knowledge that after a lifetime of ministering the Gospel to those she loved, her faith has been made sight.
