Ray was born in Brunswick, GA on February 18, 1958 and graduated from Glynn Academy. He was a lifelong mechanic and pastor and a founding member of The Gloryland Quartet. Mr. Amos was Past Master of the Masonic Golden Isles Lodge 707.
Proceeded in death by his mother and father, Gloria and Raymond Amos, Sr., Ray is survived by two daughters Amanda and Heather Amos, a sister Martha Vinson, a step mother Madeline Amos and three grandchildren.
The family expresses special thanks to John and Millie Winslett, Kenny Allard and Gene and Linda Smith. Services will be held at Edo Miller & Sons Funeral home on Monday, March 24th at 6pm and on Tuesday March 25th at 1 pm at Lakeside Methodist Church. In place of flowers please make donations to Hospice of the Golden Isles or the Children's Masonic Home in Macon, GA.
