Raymond Alton Walling

Raymond Alton Walling, 82, of Brunswick, Georgia, passed away November 12, 2014. He was born in Brunswick on July 17, 1932. Alton graduated Glynn Academy. He was married to Ethlyn Wood Walling on February 23, 1952. After four years in the Navy, he graduated from Southern Technical College. For the past 40 years, he was the owner of Electrical Supply Inc of Brunswick. He was a member of the Ocean Masonic Lodge. A proud father, grandfather and great-grandfather, his passion was his family.

He is survived by his wife, Ethlyn; his daughter, Eve Walling-Wohlford (husband Roger); his two sons, Christopher A. Walling (wife Sandra) and Brannon R. Walling (wife Helen); and daughter-in-law Jeanne Tusa Walling (late son Eric M. Walling).

4 grandchildren: Colin A Wohlford (Hanahan, SC), Tristan W Merriman (Ridgecrest, CA), Sarah E Walling (Brunswick, GA), Rachel L Walling (Charleston, SC), and Katie Maslin (Brunswick, GA).

7 great grandchildren: Nathan Spell, Sofia Wohlford, Auguste Wohlford, Logan Merriman, Fiona Perry, Mason Tiley, and Asher Little.

A memorial service will be held 3 p.m., Saturday, Novemebr 15, 2014 in the chapel of Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home with Reverend Jim Crandall presiding.
