Renee LaVerne Conway

Renee LaVerne Prevatt Conway, 54, of Darien, died Saturday, April 17, 2010, at Southeast Georgia Health System, Brunswick Campus. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday at First Baptist Church of Darien with Dr. Michael G. Warren officiating. Interment will follow in St. Andrews Cemetery in Darien with Michael Blackwood, Ben Blackwood, Matt Padgett, Allen Ryals, Joey Wilborn and Burley Kirkland serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. William G. Grubb, Dr. Theodore Feely, Dr. Emily Feely and their staff, and the Staff of Dialysis of The Golden Isles.

She was born November 1, 1955 in Orlando, FL to Jesse Vernon Prevatt, Jr. and Bobbie LaVerne Gordon Prevatt. Ms. Conway was a member of First Baptist Church of Darien. She was preceded in death by her father Jesse Vernon Prevatt, Jr., and her grandparents Clarence L. Gordon, Robbie R. Gordon, Jesse Vernon Prevatt, Sr. and Vastine K. Prevatt.

Survivors include her son Shaun R. Conway and wife Tonya of Darien, four grandchildren, Tori, Jason, William and Anna Conway all of Darien, her mother, Bobbie G. Prevatt, of Darien, two sisters, Donna E Padgett and husband Barry of Mobile, Alabama, and Anise Black of Huntsville, Alabama, nieces, Sandra L. Howell and husband Chris of Pickerington, OH, and Andrea R. Robinson and husband Hank of Owens Cross Road, Alabama, nephews, Matt W. Padgett and wife Rachel of Daphne, Alabama, and Jondavid Black and wife April of Huntsville, Alabama, aunt and uncle, Mr. & Mrs. J.R. MacFarlane of Deland, FL.
