
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Oren Jackson and Elsie Lee Boone, a daughter Ester Lee, and a grandson, Josiah Farrell Hinson.
Survivors include: his wife and love of his life for 62 years, Geneva Sears Boone of Brunswick; two daughters, Gwendolyn Brimhall (Brian) of Snowflake, Arizona, Cheryl Hunt (Brad) of Brunswick, a son, Keith J. Boone (Carol) of Brunswick and a sister, Betty B. Brown of Brunswick, eleven grandchildren, Jarom Brimhall (Marcia), Ty Brimhall (Allison), Jessica Peters (Brady), Melissa Perkins (Dusty), Robert Brimhall, Brett Brimhall (Jessica), Candace Mosley (James), Matthew Hunt( Mikaila), Taylor Boone, Allex Boone and Maddie Leigh Boone, 19 great-grand children, several nieces, great-nieces, great-nephews and a host of extended family and friends. Bobby was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
He was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving 21 years as a Patriarch. During the 21 years as a member, Robert held many positions other than Patriarch, including Branch President, Counselor in Branch Presidency and Counselor in District Presidency, High Counselor, High Priest Group Leader, Home Teacher, Executive Committee Member of LDS BSA Troop 211, and Orlando Florida Temple Worker. He loved visiting and serving others in his calling as a home teacher.
Robert took pride in his education and loved to share his knowledge with others. He graduated from Glynn Academy in 1952 and went on to attend South Georgia College, where he graduated in 1954. From there he decided to further his education at Georgia Southern College and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Education..
He was a businessman, contractor, politician, real estate agent, and civic leader. Robert served as a Glynn County Tax Commissioner, SGRMC Hospital Authority, Okefenokee Rural Electric Association Board Member, Atlantic National Bank Director, Georgia Farm Bureau Board Member, Realtor, President of J.C., President of the Optimist Club, and Bobby was a strong supporter of the Boy Scout Association.
Though he held many different positions throughout his life, Bobby still found time to enjoy his love of fishing, gardening, giving away the food he grew, and serving others. Above all the things in his life, Bobby loved the LORD.
A funeral service will be held 11 am., with family receiving friends 10 am. until funeral hour, Saturday, December 19, 2015 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 3631 Community Rd., Brunswick, Ga., with Bishop Paul Clark officiating. Internment will follow the service at Palmetto Cemetery.

Honorary Pallbearers include: Fred Ammons, Ronnie Crews, John Rogers, Mike Hodges, Ed Long, Dr. Strickland, Dr. Myers, High Priest Farrell Kirkland, Bill Shipper, Bryan Clayton, Craig Richardson, Wayne Green, Don Boone, David Cannon, and The Board Members of Atlantic National Bank.
Visitation will be held 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. , Friday, December 18, 2015 at Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home.
