Robert Michael Rowell

Born on January 14, 1972 in Glynn County to Myrtice Mancill Rowell and Trenton Rowell, he was a sheet metal mechanic who worked at Certified Electric alongside two of his brothers. He attended Brunswick High School and was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hog hunting, raising and breeding dogs, fishing, camping and spending time with his family and friends. A lifelong resident of Glynn County, Robert attended Sterling Church of God.

Robert is survived by the pride and joy of his life, son Robert Michael Rowell Jr., wife Teri L. Rowell, stepson Josh McLeod (also a source of great pride), parents Myrtice Rowell and Trenton Rowell, and brothers Perry Rowell (Genelda), Terry Rowell (Karen), Stanley Rowell (MaryAnn), and Theodore Rowell (Sharon). He is also survived by Aunts Ethelene Sadler of Brewton AL, Faye Tolbert of Gainesville GA, Betty Jo Strickland of Brunswick, Faye Vickers of Missouri and Dorothy Jean Tanner of Tampa, FL and many cousins. Robert was a loving uncle to Nicole, LeAnn, Jaime, Andrew, Jasper, Joni, Chelsea, Hillary, Austin, Christopher, Matthew, Carrie, Trent, and Rebecca and great uncle of Cody, Cameron, Colt, Harper and Paisley. He had a multitude of friends and shared a special bond with “Papa” Jr. Toler.

Pallbearers are Josh McLeod, Austin Rowell, Shane Anderson, Travis Anderson, Beau Toler and Chad Hutchinson. Honorary pallbearers are employees of Certified Electric.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening May 20, 2015 from 6 PM until 8 PM at Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Thursday, May 21, 2015 in the chapel of Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home with Pastor Larry Daughtry and Pastor Earl Lamie officiating. Interment will follow in Brunswick Memorial Park Cemetery.
