Susan Ann Baxter

Susan Ann Baxter, 66, of St. Simons Island, formerly of Louisville, Kentucky and Auburn, Alabama, and Douglasville, Georgia, departed this life Saturday, December 9, 2023 at her residence. A Celebration of Life will be conducted at a later date.

Born December 7, 1957 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Richard Louis and Catherine Belle K. Sanders, she received a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Auburn University in 1979. She was a former member of St. Matthews Methodist Church in Louisville, Kentucky and was a Senior Marketing Manager for GE Commercial Sales. Ms. Baxter had been a resident of Glynn County for the past five years. She enjoyed travel and spending time with family. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister Elizabeth K. Sanders.

Survivors include two sisters, Debra Sanders Faith of St. Simons Island, and MJ Mueller and husband Tom of Louisville, KY, an aunt, Jane Burns Cook, an uncle, David Sanders, a niece, Jennifer Claspill and husband Tony, three nephews, Jeremy Faith, Aaron Mueller, and Andrew Mueller, eight great nieces and nephews, an aunt, Jo Doris Bennett, uncle, David Sanders, and aunt, Jane Burns Cook.
