Susan Kay Willis

Kay Willis, 57, went to be with our lord on April 5, 2014. Susan was a dedicated employee of

Southeast Georgia Health System where she spent the last 18 years as an Information

Management Specialist. She loved the ocean and enjoyed photographing wildlife. She was an

avid cancer research supporter and light to many brother and sisters that joined her in the fight.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Timmie Lee Roberts of Brunswick, GA and her father

Samuel M. Roberts Jr. of St. Simons Island, GA.

She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Richard B. Willis Sr.; son, Richard B. Willis, Jr., his wife

Kristal, and granddaughters Brylee and Sadie Lee; her daughter Kim Webb, her husband Brad, and

granddaughter Grace; her sister Gail Miller and brothers; Samuel M. Roberts III and Tim Roberts;

lifelong treasured friend Dale Ann Bennett; dear friend Shannon Webb and “granddaughter” Montana

and many other friends and co-workers that she loved.

The family would like to thank the doctors and staff of Southeast Georgia Health System and Hospice of

the Golden Isles in Brunswick; and Emory University Hospital in Atlanta.

Receiving of friends will be held on Monday, April 7, 2014, from 6 to 8pm at Edo Miller and Sons Funeral

Home. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at 10am in the chapel at Edo Miller and

Sons Funeral Home with the Rev. Wright Culpepper officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the cancer center at Southeast Georgia Health

System.
