Susan Jane Lancaster, beloved daughter of Cyrus Allen Lancaster and Rose Wilson Lancaster, passed into Heaven on October 8, 2017. Jane was born in Atlanta, Georgia on the day after Thanksgiving, November 25, 1955. She attended The Little Red Schoolhouse in Atlanta. She enjoyed singing in church, boat rides on Lake Lanier and girl talk with friends.
Jane is survived by her devoted twin brother and guardian, Wayne Allen Lancaster, sister-in-law, Miriam Lancaster, niece Caitlin Lancaster Humes (Alexander), great-niece and great-nephew, and her “big family” including special friends Pam Alford, Yvonne Chappell, Rhonda Lancaster and Mark Lancaster, and their children, who gave Jane many special experiences and much love.
Wayne and Miriam would like to thank the staff at Sears Manor Nursing Home for their care during Jane’s final years.
Funeral services will be 2:00PM Friday, October 13, 2017 in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home, 4400 S. Lee St., Buford, GA 30518.
Visitation from 6-8pm Thursday, October 12, 2017 at Flanigan Funeral Home.
