

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother and grandmother Vaudene Jane Adams who went to be with the Lord on February 6, 2024. She leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and cherished memories that will forever remain in our hearts.
Born on September 30, 1934 in Apache Oklahoma, Vaudene lived a life filled with compassion, kindness, and an unwavering devotion to her family and her church. She was a beacon of light to all who knew her. Her warm smile and kind words touched the lives of countless individuals throughout her journey.
She married the love of her life Billy Hugh Adams on February 19, 1955 in San Diego, CA and remained a devoted wife until her passing.
As a mother and grandmother, Vaudene embraced her role with grace and love. She cherished every moment spent with her loved ones. Whether it was gathering around the dinner table, sharing stories, or offering a listening ear, she created a home filled with love, laughter, and cherished traditions.
Vaudene's impact extended far beyond her immediate family. She had a genuine care for others. Her acts of kindness and selflessness touched the lives of her friends, neighbors, and community through her work with Green Acres Baptist Church. She was always there to lend a helping hand or offer a comforting word, and her generosity knew no bounds.
As we remember Vaudene, let us celebrate the remarkable life she lived. She may no longer be with us in physical form, but her spirit will forever guide us. Vaudene's love, wisdom, and strength will continue to inspire us as we navigate the journey ahead.

She is survived by: her husband Billy Hugh Adams; daughter Connie Lynne, (Ken) Hel,
son Russell Stuart Adams, Sr, daughter, Kimberly Ann (Bobby) Swank. Four grandchildren Russell Stuart Adams, Jr., Bradley James Adams, Morgan Swank Lyle and Madison Leigh Swank. Four great-grandchildren Evelyn Fern Adams, Norah Elizabeth Adams, Myra Leigh Adams and Molly Katherine Adams.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, Lawrence and Eva Barton
One Son, Myron Lee Adams. Four brothers, Vic Barton, Lawrence Barton, Bernard Barton, Orville Barton. Three sisters - Glada Dossey, Neva Jo Ice, Barbara Moore.
