Virginia was a native of New York and worked her entire career at New York Bell where she worked as a telephone operator.
Her husband, William Edward Brockwell and her parents, Herbert Julius Baer and Madeline Mary Fehling Behr, preceded her in death.
Virginia is survived by a step-son and his wife, William "Bill" and Beth Brockwell of Jacksonville, FL; two grandchildren, Christy Brockwell and Nick Brockwell (Kayla) of Saint Johns, FL; three great-grandchildren, Scarlett, Blair and Remington Brockwell; a niece who was like a daughter, Diane Foa of Atlanta; a brother, Richard Baer (Maria) of Long Island, NY; a sister, Dorothy Sehlmeyer of Queensbury, NY, and several nieces and nephews.
At her request, there will be no local services.
Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
