William "Buddy" Johnson

William “Buddy” Johnson, 59, of Brunswick passed on January 31, 2012 at his residence. A Celebration of Life service will be held Sunday, February 5, 2012 at 3:00 pm in the chapel of Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home, with the Reverend Chuck Henkle presiding.

Buddy was born in Louisville, KY in 1952 to the late Patricia Olivia Adams Johnson and the late John Norwood Johnson. He attended high school in Yazoo City, MS and was employed locally by Carl Gregory. Buddy attended St. Francis Xavier Catholic Parish. He enjoyed art, music, reading, sports, and most of all spending time with his family.

Buddy was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia, his father, John, and by a brother-in-law, Paul Anthony Boling. He is survived by his wife, Kelly Johnson, a daughter Marley Johnson, his sons, Jake Johnson, Josh Johnson and Josh’s fiancée Crystal Rios, and his grandson, Justice Johnson, all of Brunswick. He is also survived by his sister, Barbara Lorraine George of Fort Myers, FL.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials in Buddy’s honor be made to St. Francis Xavier Catholic Parish, 1120 Newcastle St., Brunswick, GA 31520.
