Agnes Elizabeth Harper

Agnes Elizabeth Harper passed away peacefully at the Millrise Place Seniors Village on August 18, 2017 at the age of 97 years. Agnes will be lovingly remembered by her son John (Darlene); sister Grace; brother Ron; and many nieces and nephews. Agnes was predeceased by her husband Roland, daughter Marlene, grandson Sterling, sister Edna, and brothers Des and John Henry. Agnes was born in Port Credit, Ontario and she resided in Calgary for the duration of her life.

Those wishing to pay respects may do so at a visitation held at SOUTH CALGARY FUNERAL CENTRE, 12700 Macleod Trail South (at Lake Fraser Gate) on Saturday, August 26, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. A Funeral Service will be held at SOUTH CALGARY FUNERAL CENTRE, 12700 Macleod Trail South (at Lake Fraser Gate), on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Cyril Haynes officiating. Reception to follow. Interment will take place following the service at Union Cemetery, (Erlton Street & 32 Avenue SW).

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations being made in Agnes’s memory directly to the Canadian Diabetes Association, (#220, 6223 – 2 Street SE, Calgary, AB T2H 1J5) or M.A.D.D. Canada, (Suite 500, 2010 Winston Park Drive, Oakville, ON L6H 5R7).
