Alexa was the beloved youngest daughter of Robert and Linda Schrag, born in Calgary, Alberta and raised there until 1982 when the family moved to Coaldale, Alberta. Alexa graduated from Lethbridge Collegiate Institute with her certificate in Drafting Technology and worked in that field throughout her adult life.
Given Alexa’s love of animals, it was not surprising that she also started her own successful dog walking business - Hound Hikers - and had many treasured clients.
Alexa was a dedicated mother, a lover of animals and nature and an enthusiast of the arts. She loved the excitement of movies, the peacefulness of a good book and the smell of a freshly weeded, just watered garden. All these things, along with her quick wit and genuine heart led her to wonderful lifelong friendships.
Left to cherish her memory are her beautiful children, Ben and Katie; parents Robert and Linda; loving brother Andrew (Karin); nephew Zachary; nieces Emily and Katarina, devoted sister Leandra; uncles Marvin Foulkes, Robert Foulkes; aunt Bonny (Les Jesperson); and many cousins and friends.
