Allan Gardner Stevenson

Al was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba on May 31st, 1936 and spent his youth in Swan River, Manitoba. Al graduated from University of Manitoba with a Geology Engineering degree. This career took him to Schefferville, Quebec; Fraser Lake, BC; Richmond, BC; Elko, Nevada; Williams Lake, BC; and Calgary, Alberta. He rounded out his career selling real estate in Phoenix, Arizona.

Al was married to Valdine Elizabeth Stephanson in 1960. He was predeceased by his granddaughter, Natalie Christine FitzPatrick and was survived by his sister Carol Phillips of Mapleton, Oregon; his 4 children, Nancy Stevenson of Calgary, Alberta; Michael Stevenson of Vancouver, BC; Susan Stevenson of Vancouver, BC; and Jill Welch of Phoenix, Arizona as well as his grandchildren Brennan Stevenson (19), Adria Stevenson (18), Dylan Stevenson (15), Bria Welch (14), Kaeden Patrick (13), Carsen Welch (12) and Treyson White (10).

Al will always be fondly remembered for his incredible wit, mental prowess for playing cards and his enumerable quotable quips. “Tutto Finito la musica”. We will miss you Dad!
