It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Allen Kueng Leung, age 83, beloved husband, father and grandfather. Allen passed away in Calgary, Alberta on Friday, October 18, 2024. Married to Sai Nui, Allen was the proud father of Leo and Joan and a loving grandfather to Jacob and Ryan. He was the eldest of his siblings - Suet Yuan, Suet Kay, Steven, Daniel, Stanley and James.
Born in China in 1941, Allen later immigrated with his family from Hong Kong to start a new life in Canada. Allen worked endless hours to support his family and to provide a better future for them. As a natural extrovert, he was always with a smile and loved to engage in conversation whenever the opportunity presented itself. He enjoyed cooking, cheering on the Calgary Flames and telling stories.
A Funeral service will be held at Foster’s Garden Chapel, 3220 4th St. NW, Calgary, AB., on Friday, November 1, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Rocky View Garden of Peace Cemetery.
