It is with great sadness the Healy family announces that after a courageous fight, Anne Elizabeth Healy passed away on Wednesday October 5, 2011. Anne will be lovingly remembered and missed by her husband Robert (Bob), whom she spent the past forty two years happily married. Anne is survived by her two children, Vanessa (Mike) Anisimovicz and Cameron Healy. In addition to Anne’s family and friends, she will be especially missed by her three grandchildren, Nicholas, Julianna and James Anisimovicz, and her best friend and sister Barb (Ed) Taylor. Anne was born on July 10, 1946 in Medicine Hat, AB, the first daughter of Mary and John (Jack) Bristow. Upon graduation from senior high, Anne moved to Calgary to attend College and then her adventurous side led her to work in Toronto. After a trip to Europe, Anne relocated back to Calgary, fell in love with Bob, was married on August 29, 1969 and began work in the Calgary oil industry. Anne excelled as an Executive Assistant and was known for her amazing organizational skills and abilities to manage projects and events. She worked for several large energy companies over her working career. Upon retiring, Anne enjoyed traveling, reading and especially focusing on her amazing creativity to further pursue to perfection her hobbies of quilting and sewing. She made many special items for family and friends that will be treasured and remembered.
