Arnold Joseph McKee

August 11, 1917 - January 14, 2012

Our dear father, granddad and great- granddad passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 14, 2012. Arnold's journey was a long and happy one, beginning in Chapleau, ON, to exciting pre-war New York as a freelance photographer, to England with the RCAF and to Calgary with family and work in the oil industry. We will always remember his laughter, love of music and his passion for fitness, which saw him working out into his nineties. Arnold is survived by his son Rick; daughter-in-law Cathy; grandchildren Connie (Wai), Wes, Carly (Cotie), Taylor, Anyssa Rylee; great-grandchildren Landry and Kayla. Arnold was predeceased last February by his wife of sixty-eight years, Evelyn, beloved daughter June and sisters Francis and Doreen. A Funeral Service was held at FOSTER'S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 - 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen's Park Cemetery) on Thursday, January 19, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. The family wishes to thank the amazing staff at Carewest Colonel Belcher for making the last few months happy ones for Arnold.
