Art came to Canada in 1956 from Biberach, Germany. One year later he met his wife Edie and the two were married on October 10, 1959. Art worked at the University of Calgary for 34 years as an Electronic research technician in the Mechanical Engineering Department.
In his retirement Art loved to go camping in Banff and recently started to travel abroad. He was a very bright and talented man and he loved spending time with his grand kids and great grand kids.
Art, a beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather and Opa will be deeply missed by his loving wife Edie Moehrle, son Tim Moehrle (Hope) and daughters Angie Chaput (Roger) and Petra Moehrle, his sister Gaby Beth (Paul) and his cousin Nick Vogt (Petra) as well as nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at SOUTH CALGARY FUNERAL CENTRE, 12700 Macleod Trail South, (at Lake Fraser Gate) Calgary on Saturday, November 26, 2011 at 2:00 p.m.
