Audrey Jane Popowich

Audrey Jane Popowich (nee Yee) passed away in Calgary on Thursday, April 11, 2013 at the age of 37 years after a courageous fight with both Lupus and Leukemia. Audrey is lovingly remembered by her husband Jesse Popowich; her mother Mee Ling Yee, father Shao Yen Yee; grandmother Ping Tse; and parents-in-law Gwen and Gerry Popowich. Audrey will be missed by her sisters Anita (Tom) Yee and Angela (Lloyd) Yee-Hamshaw; sister-in-law Kari (Chad) Marcusson; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Audrey was loved by many and has friends around the world that will miss her dearly. A Memorial Service will be held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Monday, April 22, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. Thank you to the nurses and doctors in Unit 57 at the Tom Baker Cancer Centre for their care, as well as the many friends of Audrey and her family who have offered their support in numerous ways. Thank you to the Agape Hospice staff for their kind care.
