The most important thing in Bev’s life was her many family and friends as she thrived on connection with others. Bev’s longest connection was with her husband, who she was with for over 50 incredible years. She cultivated lifelong friendships and was a magnet for bringing people and groups together, and will be remembered as such.
Bev is lovingly remembered by her husband, Jay Henkel; sons Jesse and Jordon Henkel, daughter-in-law Rachelle Henkel; grandsons Benjamin and Luke Henkel. She is also remembered by her brothers and sisters Rick (Carol) Larson, Sheri (Rod) Gussman, Robin (Sarah) Larson, Kathy (Rick) Larson. Bev is now reunited with her parents Ruth and Donald Larson, as well as her brother Randy Larson.
A Celebration of Life Reception will be held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary, Alberta (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Wednesday, October 2, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. with a time of sharing at 3:00 p.m.
