

Brenda Leveque passed away peacefully at the Foothills Hospital after losing her battle with cancer on Sunday, January 24, 2016 at the age of 59 years. Brenda was born on March 18, 1956 in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan and grew up on a farm in Choiceland, Saskatchewan. In 1978, she and Mel Leveque moved to Calgary where they were married. Their first son Jason was born in Calgary in 1980. Soon after his birth they relocated to Smeaton, Saskatchewan where their second son Chris was born in 1984. In 1986, the family again moved back to Calgary. Brenda worked in various occupations, the most recent in administration with Enbridge since 2008. Brenda enjoyed spending time with family, especially the time she spent with her grandson Cody. She enjoyed cooking, knitting, travelling and her cat Taz. Brenda is lovingly remembered by her sons, Chris and Jason; daughter-in-law Jenna; grandson, Cody; brother, Dennis Boehler; sister, Debbie McWhirter; nieces, Steph McWhirter and Valerie (Frank) Jankunis and their three daughters. She was predeceased by her father, Elmer Boehler in 1960, her step-father, Robert Bowman in 2008 and her mother, Anne Boehler in 2013. At Brenda’s request a private graveside will take place.
