Caroline’s loving kindness is still part of my life.  One of her quilts is on my bed and I think of her so often.  She left a legacy of love for those her knew her to imitate.  May God bless you all as you remember her.

The Letts nieces were always attentive to their Aunt Sara (my mother here on her 100th birthday). Carolyn and Jim also took Aunt Sara and Uncle Blake on a trip to Europe .  My mother was very thankful for that as she had always wanted to go to Ireland and meet some of her relatives. Caroline and I also shared the fact that we both graduated proudly from the Royal Alexander  Hospital  School  of Nursing,  Caroline in 1949 and me in 1968.

The last memory of Jim and Caroline was at home when we had them come over for dinner along with Ethel, Ornan, Ken, Norma, Glen,Herb. It was wonderful time sharing a meal and catching up with the events in events in every ones life. It reminds me of the importance of relationships which are very important.

We remember all the beautiful large quits she sent overseas to under privileged countries. She did it all in the name of love.

 I only knew Caroline for two years when I moved into the   Renaissance. We spent many hours together doing puzzles. She was special and I will always miss her.

With sincere sympathy to the Letts family on Carolyn's passing.  she will be remembered as a very active member of the Royal Alex Alumni and an advocate for the RAH School of Nursing.  She will be missed.

To All the Letts’ Family

My sincere condolences to you all in the loss of your mother Caroline . ( and father Jim last year.) Your parents were very good friends for  over seventy years with my parents, Bob & Margaret McKenzie  through their connection with Bethany Chapel. I know both couples enjoyed their many social gatherings,  whether it was dinner parties, times at Sylvan Lake or hiking in the mountains  at Lake O’Hara. Our families also shared fun and laughter as kids growing up at the Chapel and activities at Camp Okotoks. I know my parents always enjoyed your father’s dry wit and sense of humor and your mother’s beautiful needlework and delicious pies! Even though our parents are in their Eternal Home now, they leave us with a beautiful legacy and many treasured memories.



My condolences to the family,
I remember Caroline from her time at Trinity Lodge. She was such a lovely person. She and my mum, (Lorraine Hall (Shafonsky)) who also worked at Trinity were friends. Now they can have a good visit where there is no more pain or suffering.
