Chris is survived by his mother Irene, wife Jacqueline, daughters Sydney and Devin, brother Brad, sister-in-law Monica and nephews Bailey and Brayden.
He was predeceased by his father Alex.
Chris was a dedicated employee, having worked for over 35 years at Gordon Food Service, where his loyalty to his work family was surpassed only by his devotion to his family and friends.
A passionate sports fan, Chris was a die-hard supporter of the Calgary Flames and Seattle Seahawks. He enjoyed the back and forth banter and making bets with family and friends. He loved spending time with his furry friends, Tux and Murphy, who were always by his side. Chris was his happiest on any beach, where he could swim and soak up the sun.
He was known affectionately as Walzy, a big man with an even bigger heart. He had an infectious smile, big laugh, and the ability to spark up a conversation with anyone. Chris’s generosity knew no bounds, often surprising those he loved with small, thoughtful gifts just to bring a smile to their faces. His playful and goofy nature made him a joy to be around, and his thoughtful, kind-hearted spirit will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He leaves behind a legacy of laughter, love, and kindness that will forever remain in our hearts.
We welcome all friends and family to celebrate Chris's life on February 8th. Please join us as we honor the memories and cherish the moments we shared together.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you remember Chris in your own way, perhaps with a smile, a joke, a little dance or a favorite memory.
