MERCER, Dale Jeanette (nee MALAND)March 21, 1944 - December 6, 2009Dale passed away at the Fanning Centre on Sunday, December 6, 2009 at the age of 65 years, after a long and courageous battle with several illnesses. She was born in Victoria, British Columbia and grew up in the Calgary area. Dale is lovingly remembered by Bob, her husband of forty-six years; daughter Pamela; grandchildren Amanda, Rachel and Sarah; mother Ann Maland; sisters Judy (Brian), Patti (Brian), Debbie (James); brother James (Donna); sister-in-law Kathleen (Earl); aunt Helen McKenna; niece Jody (Mike) and numerous other nieces and nephews. Dale was predeceased by her father John Maland; sister Donna; brother Douglas. A Celebration of Dale’s Life was held at FOSTER'S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 - 4th Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen's Park Cemetery) on Friday, December 11, 2009 at 3:00 P.M. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made directly to the charity of one's choice.
