He is survived by his loving wife, Anne; his three children: Dr. Kirk Sinclair of Edmonton, Cale Sinclair of Calgary, and Hayley Sinclair and her husband, Dr. Joshua Bray, also of Edmonton. He is also survived by his cousin, John Goodman of Vancouver, BC, who was like a brother to him.
Dane was predeceased by his parents, Barbara and Donald Sinclair of Calgary, and his sister, Barbara Hughes of Irricana.
He was immensely proud of his family and found joy in coaching his children’s sports teams over the years. He had a love for travelling and took great pride in his meticulously maintained lawn and yard, two activities which he had hoped to continue during his upcoming retirement.
The family would like to thank the staff of Unit 94, Rockyview General Hospital, and the AHS Palliative Home Care Team for their compassion and skill. Memorial donations may be made, if desired, to the Canadian Cancer Society.
Services will be held on Friday, August 15, 2025 at 1:00 p.m at South Calgary Funeral Centre, 12700 Macleod Trail S.E. Calgary, Alberta.
