She was born in Saigon, Viet Nam in 1928.
Married to her husband Francois Pham in 1947, Denise was the proud mother of four children—Dzung, An, Yen, and Hung—and a loving grandmother to their children. Denise and her family relocated to France fleeing the war, eventually settling in Canada, where she continued to thrive and build a fulfilling life.
Denise successfully ran her own business in Saigon, showcasing her entrepreneurial spirit. She was also passionate about the arts, finding joy in painting and poetry, which enriched her life and inspired those around her.
She leaves behind a legacy of resilience, creativity, and devotion to her family. Denise will be deeply missed by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
A Memorial Service will be held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary, Alberta (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Wednesday, October 9, 2024 at 1:30 p.m. where friends and family are invited to celebrate her inspirational life.
