Diana Rosemary Kary

It is with great sadness that the family of Diana Kary announces her sudden passing on Tuesday, October 31, 2017, at the age of 58 years. Diana will be forever cherished by her best friend and husband of 38 years, Weldon; their children, Daniel (Jessica), Steven and Julia (Paul); as well as Weldon’s parents, Benny and Shirley Kary. She will also be forever loved and remembered by her siblings and their spouses, nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, dear friends, neighbours and colleagues. Diana was predeceased by her parents Leonard and Kathleen Brookwell, Weldon’s sister and niece, Susan and Patricia Bye.

Diana was an extraordinarily talented woman in so many areas. She was a beloved teacher, gifted baker and seamstress, but her most precious gifts were her overwhelming kindness and generosity and the boundless energy she put into caring for the people whom she loved. In her, way too short, time here she touched all who met her and there will be a place in our hearts for her always.

A Celebration of Diana’s Life will be held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery), on Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at 2:00 p.m.
