Dolly was born in Northern Ireland and relocated to England serving as a nursing aide during WWII where she met her future husband Alvin Klippert, a member of the Canadian Armed Forces serving in England. She joined “Al” in Calgary as a war bride in late 1946 where she resided until her passing. Dolly was a homemaker who volunteered for a number of causes including Meals on Wheels, various seniors and church programs as well as other interests. She is survived by her sons Ronald (Colette Dufour) and Barry (Jean Faulkner); son-in-law Ron Rayburn as well as grandsons Dylan and Adam Rayburn, Marc, Drew and Kevin Klippert. She will also be remembered by long term friends Lucille McTaggart and her first friend in Canada Audrey Jenkin who greeted her at the train station in 1946. Dolly was predeceased by her husband Alvin in 1988 and sadly by her daughter Patricia in 1996.
