Donna Elizabeth McQuay passed the way she wanted to go, with her family by her side on Sunday, July 28, 2013. She will join her husband of almost 50 years, Stewart Charles McQuay in the banquet of heaven. Donna will be missed by her three loving daughters; Sheila (Anthony), Cindy (Brian), Dodie (Terry), along with her grandchildren; Michael, Jacqui, Jesse, Brelyn, Jeremy, Jennifer, Ashley, Chris, Char, Craig, her many great grandchildren and many wonderful friends.
Her capacity to love unconditionally will be missed as she touched the lives of so many. From her birth and many years spent in Elnora, her later years in Calgary at Confederation Park Lodge and her involvement with CGIT and the Royal Purple, Donna lived a vibrant and full life filled with love and laughter, song and dance.
The family would like to thank the kind and caring staff at Foothills Hospital for their exceptional care and support.
A Celebration of her Life will be held at Elnora Town Hall on Thursday, August 1, at 11:00 am. Pink will be the colour of the day in honour of Donna.
