Dorothy was born in Hull, England on April 12, 1915. She married Stanley Chapman on April 8, 1939 in Hull, East Yorkshire, England. They moved to Churchdown, Gloucestershire where they raised their two daughters Brenda and Christine. They remained in England until 1980 when they moved to Alberta, Canada to join their two daughters and their families. They spent a few years enjoying time with their children and grandchildren. Sadly Stan passed away in 1983. Dorothy spent her time traveling with friends to many locations around the globe, volunteering at the Calgary Kerby Centre, going for walks or tea with friends and family as well as traveling to visit family within Canada as well as back home. This included trips to England on her own until the age of 93. Her love of life and ability to take anything in stride inspired us all. She will be sadly missed.
