Doug Kay passed away peacefully on Monday, October 25, 2010 at the age of 50 years. He will be sadly missed by his partner Nicole Guillemaud, brother Greg (Kelly) Kay his nieces and nephews; Steven and Vanessa Kay, and Nicole and Taylor Price as well as extended family and friends. Doug was predeceased by his sister Sandy Price, mother Mona Kay, father Ronald Kay, grandparents May and Arthur Kay, and Bud and Frances Thompson. He graduated from Springbank High School in 1978. A true native Calgarian, Doug was a diehard Calgary Stampeders fan and was a season ticket holder for many years. He was a devoted uncle and was fondly referred to as “Uncle Bug”. Family was very important to him. Doug enjoyed two wonderful years with Nicole, the love of his life. Doug was a loving and loyal partner, brother, uncle and friend and will be missed by everyone who knew him. A Celebration of Life will be held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Friday, November 12, 2010 at 3:00p.m. Memorial tributes may be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association Recreation Program, 400, 1202 Centre Street SE
