Passed away at the Rockyview Hospital on January 9, 2016 at the age of 93 years. In the 1940s Elna attended what was to become the Alberta College of Art and Design where she met her husband of 65 years, Harold J. Hutchinson, who survives her. She will also be sadly missed by her son Marc Hutchinson and her daughter-in-law Diana Sherlock. She was predeceased by her daughter Kristen Hutchinson and her brothers Gordon Nelson, Leo Nelson and Ray Nelson. A memorial will be held in May at her home.
