Fernett passed away peacefully at the George Boyack Nursing Home in Calgary, AB on Monday, September 11, 2017 at the age of 79 years. Fernett was predeceased by her parents, Ron and Fern Goodwin; husband Corley Noble; son Jim Noble; sister Ruth Davidson and brother Terry Goodwin. She is survived by her brothers, Ron Goodwin (Marlene) and Tom Goodwin (Pat); sister-in-law Marilyn Goodwin; son Wade Noble; three daughters, Brenda Petersen (Dave), Rhena Crispin (Barry) and Terri-Lynn Littau (Rodney); as well as her many nieces, nephews and grandchildren. Fernett was born in Calgary and lived there for most of her life. She then moved to a farm near Okotoks before moving back to Calgary. She was a long-time member of the Jehovah’s Witnesses. The family would like to thank all the staff at the George Boyack for their loving care and compassion. A Memorial Service will be held at Tuxedo Park Kingdom Hall, 3102 Centre Street NE, Calgary, AB on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made directly to the Alzheimer Society of Calgary, 201, 222 - 58 Ave S.W., Calgary, AB T2H 2S3.
