We are so deeply saddened by the loss of our brother, uncle, cousin and friend, Frank Anthony Beaudin who passed away on Saturday, October 2, 2021 in Peter Lougheed Hospital. He was only 59, a couple of weeks away from turning 60.
Frank was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta with his immediate family, many cousins and extended family, riding horses and being a cowboy. His primary school years were spent at St. Mary’s. He went onto graduate from SAIT, Electronics Engineering and got a job with CBC that started him out in Inuvik, NWT. He loved it and the stories he could tell! He continued with CBC for several years doing installations, climbing towers in the wilderness of Saskatchewan. Eventually he returned to Calgary to be closer to his mom and family. After a few years of contract work with Coca Cola, he secured a permanent position. Finally, he was able to buy his beloved Harley Davidson. He had plans…next year a trip to the east to see Evan, but most recently simple rides with the wind in his hair.
Frank was best known for his love and passion for sports, he could watch the Stampeders on one channel, the Flames on another, with the Blue Jays on radio. Loud music, karaoke and live jams warmed his soul. He loved to party, make new friends and reconnect with old ones. He was as loyal as the many dogs he loved, Hugo and Aussie were two favorites.
Frank was a sensitive soul, with a tender heart, a wicked sense of humor and a smile that would melt you to your core. He touched everyone he met in a special way leaving everyday imprints that will last a life time.
Frank was predeceased by his parents Bobby and Ruby Beaudin and his sisters Denise and Louise. He is survived by his son Evan, sister Deb, brother Ernie (Delores), nieces Catherine, Michelle, and Denise and their children, his nephews, Mike, Kyle, Mitchell, Kevin and Trent , their wives and children, as well as numerous cousins, aunts, uncles and many friends. All of whom he loved very much.
You will be dearly missed, Frank! Until we meet again. May the sun always warm your face, may the gentle wind always be at your back, the horizon is calling, it’s time to ride.
In the spring of next year, the family will arrange a Celebration of Life. He will eventually be buried in Queen’s Park Cemetery with his mom, sister, uncle and grandparents.
Memorial donations may be made in Frank’s memory to Bikers Against Bullying at https://stopbully.com or Bikers Against Domestic Violence/Child Abuse at https://canada.bacaworld.org.
