Frank and our dad, Bill Hulbert, worked for Imperial Oil after the war. My bother, Bob, and I met Frank and Olive at a Halloween party our folks held at their new house in Elboya in the late 40s. I didn't run into Frank again until about 20 years later at the Alberta Family Histories Society meetings.  Frank was a very active member of the AFHS. We often reminisced about the days gone by.  God bless him and may he rest in peace.

From the time Wendy first introduced me to her parents way back in high school days, I felt as though I had been welcomed to their family. In Toronto, their home was an oasis for me. Later, they shared their Calgary home with me, showed me the Rockies, and helped me get employment. I used to ride to work with Frank in the mornings, and I still remember some of those early morning conversations, the newbie trying to figure out the ins and outs of the working world; I know how lucky I was to have someone to ask. When I thought of what I might say to contribute to the celebration of his life, I realized I just wanted to express my gratitude and love for all Frank did for me. Without the kindness and caring of the Morrow family, my life would have been much different. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

Your Dad was indeed a special man.  Arriving on a special day (Remembrance Day).  Leaving this world on another special day (Australia Day).  
Thanks to Frank for his WWII service and special thanks for providing you as his legacy.

My condolences to the Morrow Family. I worked for Frank back in the late 1970s in the old Brown Building. I remember his ability to debate and to cut to the chase with his keen wit. Never a dull moment.

Kathy and I are thinking of you as we've just learned about Frank's passing this Saturday morning, Jan 29th.

He held on to Australia Day.  Very interesting, isn't it?  

I will always remember Frank's keen wit and willingness to debate.  I am most grateful for the gift he left me.
