

Frank Morrow passed away peacefully at the Rockyview Hospital in Calgary, AB on Wednesday, January 26, 2011 (Australia Day) at the age of 88 years. He was born in Hobart, Tasmania, Australia on November 11, 1922 to Ethel and Frank Morrow. Frank served in the Royal Australian Air Force during WWII. He saw service in Canada, UK and The Middle East where he was attached to the R.A.F and attained the Rank of Flying Officer. Frank is lovingly remembered by his wife Olive; children Wayne (Cathie) Morrow and Wendy (George) Makohoniuk; grandchildren Gillian and Jeremy. He is also survived by his siblings in Australia, Winifred (James) Smith, Elsie James and Betty Losurdo. Frank was predeceased by siblings, Joyce (Ernest) Surridge, David and Maxwell Morrow. A Celebration of Frank’s Life was held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Tuesday, February 1, 2011 at 3:00p.m. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made directly to Calgary Veteran’s Food Bank, 1, 4539 – 6 Street N.E., Calgary, AB T2E 3Z6.
