Glenn was born, raised and educated in Calgary. He went to Crescent Heights High School and later graduated from SAIT with a Red Seal in Heavy Duty Mechanics. Glenn worked for the City of Calgary and retired after 33 years of service.
Glenn was known for his sense of humour and physical comedy. He loved to talk- about anything- from cars to sports to his memories of growing up in Calgary.
He did not have any children but was “Uncle Glenn” to the children, grandchildren and great grandchildren of his close cousins Joan (Mel) Sanftleben and James (Lorraine) Banner.
Glenn was predeceased by his wife Donna in 2015, mother Phyllis Foss in 2003 and brother Brian Foss in 2005.
He will be missed by those who knew him, loved him and listened to his jokes.
A Memorial Gathering to celebrate Glenn’s life will be held Monday, August 8, 2022 from 1:30 to 3:00 p.m. at Foster’s Garden Chapel, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery). Interment to be at Queen’s Park Cemetery.
