Hollis was a loving mother and the heart and soul of our family. Her penchant for family gatherings always kept the family together, not just her immediate family but also for all her extended family nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Her unwavering strength and gentle kindness was second to none, battling illness with grace and immense positivity she always found a way to make everyone around her smile and feel loved, family always came first.
Hollis was born on February 25,1948, to Ernest Frank Woods and Ialeen Margret McKercher. The family grew up and lived in Calgary Alberta which was home to Hollis and her loving family. She worked at the Foothills hospital and Children's Hospital as a phlebotomist until her retirement in 2005.
