Jack is survived by his son Keith (Wendy), daughter Lynn (Kevin), and Brother Kenneth (Brenda) of Stoke on Trent, England. He is also survived by his grandchildren Taylor (Denise), Kerri (Grant), Melissa, Bradley, Cameron and great grandchildren Mackenzie, Kennedy, Jack Jr, Jordyn and Thornton as well as many nieces and nephews in England. Jack was a devoted husband to Phyllis, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He joined the Royal Air Force at the age of 18 and served throughout European theater till the end of the war. He married Phyllis Bernard in 1944 and they were together until she passed away in January of this year, now they are together again. His passing will leave us all with a sense of emptiness, but knowing we have so many great memories to cherish him by. He left us with a lasting legacy in that he lived, loved, raised and served and to that, made all our lives better, may you rest in peace Dad my friend.
A Celebration of Jack’s Life will be held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on March 18, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. We would like to thank all the staff at the Walden Manor for their dedication and loving care of our father.
