

1919 - 2003
SAUVE, Jacqueline (Jackie) Winnifred (nee Kelly) passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, August 26, 2003 at the age of 84 years. Jackie was born February 3, 1919 at the Scottish Nursing Home in Calgary, AB. She lived in Oyen and Olds with her parents John and Isobel Kelly. Following high school she attended Olds College. She married Joseph Sauve in 1938 in Olds, AB and they later moved to Red Deer and then Calgary.
Jackie’s true passion was her love of family and friends. She could always be relied on for a helping hand, advice and words of encouragement. She enjoyed her work, travel and knitting for the little people in her family. Jackie was a devoted mother, grandmother and a faithful church member. She was employed for 20 years and retired from the Mannix Corporation in 1984.
She was a lady of dignity and grace.
Jackie leaves to celebrate her life and cherish her memory her son Barry (Mae) of Cochrane, daughters Jo-Anne Forest (Ed) of Calgary, Linda Killen (Bob) of Crossfield, Patricia Berger (Dave) of Cochrane, daughter-in-law Louise Sauve (Ron Lefebvre) and extended family Robert and Kathy Moseley of Calgary; 21 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. She also leaves two sisters, Kathleen (Joe) Lauerman and Anna (Bud) Brabbins, both of Edmonton, sister-in-law Ruth Kelly of Calgary as well as several nieces and nephews as well as special neighbours.
Jackie was predeceased by her husband, Joseph in 1971, her eldest son, Jim in 1983, her eldest daughter, Sandra Schuetzle in 1985, her youngest daughter, Kathy in 2000, as well as her brother, Wm. Bernie Kelly in 1988.
Family and friends are invited to a Prayers & Tributes Service on Thursday, August 28, 2003 at 7:00 p.m. at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 404 Northmount Place NW, Calgary.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, August 29, 2003 at 1:00 p.m. at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 404 Northmount Place NW, Calgary, with Rev. Wayne Poile presider.
Cremation will follow and private interment will take place at a later date.
