To the family of James Shaver:

It was my privilege to get to meet Jim about 2 years ago while preparing for the Schaber Reunion celebrating the 100 anniversary of their coming to Alberta.  This was my first opportunity to get to know someone from the Lee Shaver Family.  
I'm sorry to hear about the loss of your father, and my sympathies are extend to you his family. I'm so glad that I had the privilege of meeting him.  God bless.

Jim was a wonderful boss and even better friend with whom we have maintained contact for many years.  All the best to Roxanne, Tasha and Kira, as well as the rest of Jim's family, as they move on from this.  God bless all of you.

So sorry to hear of your loss. We were neighbors in Parkdale for 27 years, and Roxanne a dear childhood friend. I always remember Jim being so kind and willing to chat over the garden fence. He had a great sense of humor and always made me feel welcome at his home. Wonderful that you were able to share so many long years with him. My sympathies to all of you.

It is with the greatest of sorrow that we offer our condolences to Jim's family.  I had the extreme pleasure of working with Jim at Canadian Western Natural Gas and maintained contact in the following years.  He was truly one very special person, always kind, patient and generous with all he met.  His friendship will always be one we treasure and a memory we will hold most dear. Take comfort in the fact that him and Lee are together again.
