Jean Spielman

Jean’s parents, Mary (nee Bestick) of England and Thomas McGregor of Scotland welcomed her into this world on August 26, 1945.

Jean was a devoted mother, whose life was defined by her love for her children: Terry, Peter, Wayne and Candy. She was the heart of our home and family. Jean took special joy in reading, meeting new people, exploring new places and spending time with nine grandchildren and her great-grandchildren.

Jean was always quick with a smile, she loved to laugh, pass on her wisdom when needed and always put her family before herself. She will be remembered not only as a caring mother and grandmother, but also as a loving daughter and sister. She was and will always be our rock. We honour her memory everyday through the lessons she taught and the love she shared. We take comfort knowing she’s at peace and off on her next adventure.

She will be missed and forever loved. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
