Jeannette was born on March 10, 1936, in Lacombe Alberta. She had a wonderful and full life involved in numerous volunteer organizations, such as Wood’s Homes for many years. She tirelessly supported her husband Rick in his coaching and sporting associations as well as managing his photographic business on top of a full and rewarding career of her own. Jeannette had an extensive working career that lasted until she was 84 years young. Jeannette worked for close to 40 years as the financial controller of a small oil and gas company before retiring. She was a person that had boundless energy to share with her family, friends, and career. Jeannette loved including friends of all ages in her social circle and looked and acted much younger than her years. Jeannette was extremely involved in her children and grandchildren’s lives and could not have been a more important and significant role model in all their lives. Jeannette exuded kindness and selflessness in every aspect of her life; she was a light in every room and made each person in her life feel happier and so very loved.
Jeannette is missed immensely by her husband Richard, daughters Joanne and Callene, son in laws Rudy, Norman, grandchildren Shanell and Jaxon, step grand children Amy, Alicia, Brent and great grandchildren Amelia, Mason, and Hunter.
A memorial date to celebrate Jeannette’s life will be announced in the coming weeks.
