John enjoyed a long and successful career in the oil and gas industry. Retirement did not appeal to him so he decided to become a farmer. His love of all critters (and machinery) fulfilled his life up to the day he died.
John is survived by his wife, Shannon, son Troy (Irene); grandsons Bryce and Brad (Tia); great grandchildren Benett and Penelope, Brian and Laura McMahon; sisters Margaret Sigurdson, Nettie Cline and Christine Mahoney; sisters-in-law Shelagh (Walter) Wiebe, Sandra (Gary) Kenner and Pam Clemens as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Helen Neufeld.
A Private Family Graveside service was held on Friday, January 15, 2021. Thank you to Pastor Mile Wellman of Highwood Lutheran Church for officiating.
