Joe was born in Kingston, Ontario, raised in Chilliwack, BC and made his home in Calgary. He was a kind and gentle man like his father. Joe had a keen sense of humor always looking for the joy in life.
Joe is survived by his wife, Mary, and their two children, Madison and her husband David of Houston, Texas and Taylor of Calgary.
Also mourning Joe's passing are his four siblings, Glenn and Janice of Chilliwack BC; Randy and his wife Debbie of Calgary and Bruce living in Bangor, Maine.
Joe was an IT specialist working in Calgary for many years.
There will be a private celebration of Joe's life for family and friends.
