Joseph Zacher

Joe was predeceased in 2001 by Agnes, his wife of sixty-four years. He leaves to cherish his memory his sons Syl (Mary) and Martin of Calgary. He will also be remembered by his six grandchildren, Brian (Yuko) of Calgary, Nadine (Oliver Pearson-Lund) of London, England and their mother Theresa of Calgary, Neil (Lorraine), Natalie (Thomas Bererton), Trevor (Nathalie) and Darren (Bonnie) all of Calgary and eight great-grandchildren.

After farming in the Bow Island area for over 40 years, Joe and Agnes retired to Calgary in 1976. Joe enjoyed playing cards, bingo, dancing, bowling and playing pool.

Prayers will be held at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 10827 – 24th Street SW on Thursday, December 27, 2012 at 7:00 pm.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Spirit Catholic Church on Friday, December 28 at 11:00 am with Reverent Ignatius Tran presiding. The family wish to thank the staff of Foster’s Way at Chinook Care Center for the care given to our father. In lieu of flowers a donation may be made to the charity of your choice.
