Ken dedicated much of his life to the steel industry, working for Dominion Bridge and Russell Steel. He was known for his passion for fishing and his knack for fixing things, which kept him happily occupied during his retirement. Always with a sweet tooth, Ken made sure to enjoy desserts, never turning down cake, ice cream, cookies, or pie.
He is survived by his beloved wife Jessie, with whom he shared 65 wonderful years; his daughter Janet (Brett) Cowieson, his son John (Roslyn) Bourak and his cherished grandson Jordan. He is also remembered by his sister Ann Grandan, brother John (Ann) Bourak, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A private family funeral service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, friends may choose to make memorial donations to a charity of their choice. Ken will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
